Sabancı University Feminist Thought and Solidarity Club was established to criticize and oppose the patriarchal system that prevails both within and outside the university.
Our vision is to bring together students with a feminist perspective in order to foster the exchange of ideas, solidarity, and collective resistance. In Turkey, the rising issues of misogyny, violence against women, and sexual harassment are increasingly evident in all areas of social life, including university campuses. Raising awareness of these problems, developing solutions, and strengthening solidarity are among the primary goals of our club.
As feminist students of Sabancı University, we stand against the existing hegemonic order and call on our peers to join us.
