Extracurricular Student Activities Awards
Dear Students,
This year, as every year, we are coming together to reward your activities that add meaning to Sabancı University's colorful and dynamic campus life. We have started preparations to make the Extracurricular Student Activities Award Ceremony even more enthusiastic and exciting with its renewed concept and scope last year!
We would like to thank all of our students who live our university's motto of “Creating and Developing Together” in every moment and who form the energy and spirit of our campus. Your devoted work and creative projects make this university more special every day.
You can consider the following award categories and criteria for your events during the spring semester. We will share the selection process and program details of the award ceremony with you in the coming days.

Most Influential Career and Personal Development Award | • Organizing events with high participation in the field of career planning and personal development. • Bringing students together with experts in their fields. • Contributing to the career success of university graduates. • To realize the event or project that is resourced with the recent innovative ideas. • Developing in-kind or cash resources through innovative methods rather than relying on the abundance of resources obtained through sponsorship and donations. • To use resources effectively. |
Art and Culture Ambassador Award | • Realizing projects for the dissemination of cultural heritage and art. • Creating opportunities for students interested in the arts. • To enrich the cultural life of the university. |
Innovation and Creativity Award | • Encouraging the development of innovative ideas among student clubs. • Design projects that offer technological or creative solutions. • Stand out with new and original event formats. • Organizing events that focus on digitalization and technological development and provide alternative learning environments. • Representing the university in the field of digitalization and technological development on different platforms. |
Sports and Healthy Living Award | • Bringing an innovative approach to sports activities. • To develop projects that support the physical and mental health of university students. • Successfully representing the university in national or international sports tournaments. |
Global Perspective and Internationalization Award | • Realizing projects that strengthen international cooperation. • Organizing events that bring together students from different cultures. • To increase the visibility of the University in the international arena. • Collaborating with international participants in events. |
Sustainability Leadership Award | • To develop projects/activities in line with the economic, social and environmental sustainability goals of our country and our university. • Organizing a project/event to raise awareness on at least one of the 17 sustainability goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. • To have sustainable project/event outputs and impact. |
