The Sabancı University Bridge for Universal Humanities (SUBUH) Club was founded to create an environment where students can actively experience and explore different cultures firsthand. Our goal is to deepen the understanding of global civilizations, encourage intellectual curiosity, and, most importantly, provide people with the chance to experience diverse cultures because we believe that experiencing more cultures offers the opportunity to see the world and life from different perspectives. 
At Sabancı University, we have observed that international and Turkish students often remain within their own isolated groups, limiting opportunities for cultural exchange and mutual understanding. SUBUH seeks to be bridged by creating a platform where these people can come together, fostering meaningful connections and building a vibrant, inclusive community that values and celebrates diversity. We believe that these interactions are essential for developing a more holistic understanding of the world. 
To achieve these objectives, we create a diverse array of activities that bring people together in meaningful ways. From cultural talks that spark dialogue on shared histories and unique traditions to human libraries where individuals share their personal stories, our initiatives are designed to inspire connection and empathy. Additionally, heritage trips allow members to engage directly with cultural landmarks, deepening their appreciation for the richness of global civilizations.
